The genesis of this idea started with my firsthand experiences as a hotel owner and operator of multiple hotels in Los Angeles.
Like many owners/operators, I've seen how a single guest incident can create significant operational and financial strain. What stood out most to me wasn’t just the incident itself, but the pattern; the same individuals could move from one property to another, repeating the same behavior without any shared visibility. That disconnect led to a simple question: why aren't we working together?
I strongly believe in the power of community within the hospitality industry. A single hotel operating in isolation is limited, but a network of hotels sharing responsible, verified information is far more resilient. When we collaborate, we can better protect our teams, our guests and our investment of time and resources.
Review of You was built on that belief. That by creating trusted, structured ways for hotels to share insights, we can collectively reduce risk and elevate standards across the industry. This isn't about exclusion; it’s about accountability, transparency, and supporting one another in delivering better, safer guest experiences.
